About

You may have heard of Ohel Sarala, a Bonei Olam program that pairs those in shidduchim with couples challenged with infertility. Each pair davens for each other’s yeshuah. I am part of an Ohel Sarala pair, and my couple is close to my heart. While I wait for my bashert, they wait for their baby. And I daven for them while they daven for me. We’re on the same journey, but the path is a slightly different one.

Over the last month, thousands of Ohel Sarala participants joined in saying Nishmas for 40 consecutive days for ourselves and for our “couples”. Our fortieth day culminates on the yahrzeit of Rav Yonasan ben Uziel who is famously buried in Amuka. I know I’m on their minds, in their hearts, and on their lips. And as the power of Nishmas begins to swell, I am doing whatever I can to make their journey to parenthood as short as possible. For the next two weeks, I am raising funds that will go directly towards my couple’s fertility treatments. Please help me reach my goal — to help them build a family of their own. And in that zechus, may all who are waiting, see their wait come to an end.

Thank you so much!
